Hi, i’m Megan.
I love the place where finance and operations meet and I love working with makers - especially if they're making something delicious. I've spent the last 8 years of my career working with high-growth food and beverage companies on everything from fundraising for a Series A, to building and understanding their COGS, to vetting co-packers, to day-today bookkeping and financial reporting. I have a graduate degree in Food Studies from NYU with a concentration in sustainable entrepreneurship, and in a not too distant past-life I lived and worked on an organic farm. I believe that one key to keeping sustainability in our food system is to keep food businesses who are doing the right thing financially sustainable. I am committed to clear, compassionate, collaborative, consistent communication with my clients - it's how we win together.
What I Do
I work with each client individually to assess their finance, accounting, and operations needs where they are now, and as they grow. We can work together on ad hoc projects, or through a full monthly business management package.

What clients are saying
“Megan has been my “go-to person” for accounting needs and business planning for the past two years. She goes above and beyond my expectations with her attention to detail, prompt response times to emails or texts and her up to date knowledge on growing a small business like myself. Megan genuinely cares about her customers and it shows through the quality of her work. Highly recommend!”
“My business was a tangled financial mess because I was running my Sole Prop through a personal account. My accounting and bookkeeping were wacky and complicated. I had a decent feeling about the financial health of the company but no concrete numbers to actually point to. On top of all this, I was trying to start a second business with a totally different structure. Megan came in and sorted it all with patience and a truly amazing ability to anticipate my questions. I was nervous to let someone in behind the financial curtain but I'm very glad I did. Now bookkeeping takes up MUCH less of my time, I have a solid understanding of the financial health of the business, and I have an excellent ally as the business grows. The best part is that I have a greater understanding of what's happening instead of just hoping my financial person does it right. I wasn't x-ed out of my own financials, I was educated and empowered.”
